COVID-19应急资金

Emergency funds made available through the federal 关心行为, SEOG program and the Hudson Valley Community College 基金会 aim to help students who encounter short-term financial emergencies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

关心行为 & HEERF: Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund

联邦冠状病毒援助, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act authorizes institutions to award emergency grants to students for their allowable expenses that are related to the disruption of campus operations.

Allowable expenses must be related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19. They include food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, child care and transportation.

Eligible HVCC students include those who were enrolled in credit-bearing courses (and not exclusively online) at the college during the Spring 2020 semester, have 提交了2019/2020年FAFSA, and are deemed to be eligible for federal student aid. 学生s who have not previously completed a FAFSA are encouraged to file a 2019/2020 FAFSA application immediately.
NOTE: 学生s who do not meet this eligibility may still qualify for funding through the Hudson Valley Community College 基金会 学生 Emergency Fund.

Required Web-based Report for HEERF 学生 援助
Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) acknowledges an authorized representative of the institution has signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the institution has used, 或者打算使用, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the 关心行为 to provide Emergency 金融援助 Grants to students.
